Lainey & Taylor – Poem #2

Lainey’s green eyes watered

as she saw a certain blue-eyed

talking to the most attractive

boy she’d ever seen.

 

Taylor, seeing Lainey’s

obvious pain, said a polite

goodbye to the bewildered

boy and walked towards her

friend with open arms.
