I haven’t seen you for months.

Today when I saw you,

with your warm blue

eyes and sandy blonde

hair, I almost died inside.

Love pulsed through

my veins, but I turned

my back before it showed.

When you gave

me your number

8 months ago, I

hope my shaking

hands didn’t give

anything away.

He only talks to me when

I talk to him and I quite

frankly, I am sick of it.

If he is not going

to make any effort,

then I’m not waiting

around for him to

get his shit together.
